Job Description Engineer - UI Development Key Responsibilities:
Designing UI screens using HTML5 and CSS3. Developing and writing JavaScript classes for UI development. Design and Development of various components of EnergyIP in Java. Profiling, Load / performance testing of UI applications developed. Design Documentation and end customer documentation for the components developed.
Mandatory Technical Skills / Experience: BE in Computer Science or equivalent 3-5 years experience in JavaScript / HTML / CSS development. Strong knowledge in OOPS and Design patterns for JavaScript. Strong Knowledge JavaScript Frameworks like EXTJS, jQuery, NodeJs using HTML 5 and CSS3. Understanding of HTTP/REST/API architecture Knowledge of CSS Preprocessor like Sass. Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills. Knowledge in Core Java Ability to debug complex UI, Java backend and database applications Good knowledge in XML technologies (SAX, DOM, StAX, XML Beans, XML Schema, XSLT etc) Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms
Desired Technical Skills / Experience Web Services (REST, SOAP) Spring (AOP, Dependency Injection, Transactions, JTA, Spring JDBC) UI Performance improvement tools like YSlow
