Job Details:
Manage identified NPI Sourcing (sub-) projects to meet deliverables i.e., supplier selection and enabling being concluded in time and at cost; Initiate and ensure required approvals in case cost targets are not met
Develop project plans, coordinate activities to execute the plan
Lead cross-functional teams, multi-cultural teams to achieve goals as set by specific project charters and/or as set by the business.
Facilitate communication across the teams and with all stakeholders inside the organization.
Ensure the teams identify and manage risks/opportunities.
Ensure all quality, delivery, and pricing objectives are being met.
Use the HPS NPI Sourcing Process to coordinate supplier selection and enabling activities in cooperation with Commodity Managers, Product Integrator and Factory
Escalation point to resolve road blocks to the execution of the projects as per plans.
Interface with Commodity Managers, Engineering, Factory(s), Product Integrators, Supplier Development / Quality Engineering, and Suppliers.
Ensure that pertinent data on preferred initiatives are logged and if required necessary deviations are approved/documented
Participate and/or lead cross-functional/multi-cultural teams to achieve goals as set by specific project charters and/or as set by the business.
Facilitate communication across the teams and with all stakeholders inside the organization.
Identify and manage risks/opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
BS degree in Supply Chain management or equivalent
MBA degree in Supply Chain management or equivalent
3 year of experience in supply and/or materials management.
3 years of experience with Project Management & Microsoft Project or equivalent
3 year of experience with advanced Excel. (Pivot tables, v-lookups, and data consolidation).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to lead and support several concurrent projects and develop strong relationship within cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong team building skills.
Possess a persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills.
Understanding of MRP/ERP systems
Must be willing to work in a results based, fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
English and local dialect language Ability
